We’re Headed to Indianapolis for CCDA!
Thursday, October 06, 2011
Christian Community Development Association's (CCDA) annual conference begins next Wednesday, October 12th, in Indianapolis, IN. NeighborLink Network members from Fort Wayne, Porter County, and Van Wert County will be attending. CCDA's annual conference really is a highlight of the year for many of us that have attended the past few years due to it being one of the only times we have the opportunity to be with close to 3,000 others who are actively working in the community development realm within the context of a ministry. We're looking forward to exposing some of our newest NeighborLink members to CCDA and are hoping the find the same value as we do.
We'll also have a booth space again this year and we hope to connect with new folks who are looking for an innovative way to increase the capacity of their organization through volunteer mobilization. We've met a lot of great people the past few years and hope that our tool can help others be more effective in meeting needs in their communities.
We encourage you to stop by Booth 47 anytime to shake hands and say hello. We'll have our website up and can give guided tours to whoever wants to learn more.
We'll also be on the Twitter Machine, so follow and interact with us there. You can find us at www.twitter.com/NeighborLinkNet or you can follow me personally at www.twitter.com/BeTheLink. We'll have some of our favorite Love Your Neighbor t-shirts on hand, so watch our Twitter stream for an opportunity to get one of those. If you can't make it to Indianapolis this years and are on Twitter, you can follow the hashtag #CCDA2011 to get the latest and greatest thoughts by those in attendance.
Hope to see you there!
